Chris Evans has been frank about his love life, revealing that he is “laser focused” on finding a partner to “spend”. [his] live with.”
The 41-year-old Captain America actor stars in the upcoming Netflix film The Gray Man, in which he plays a hit man obsessed with tracking down his target, played by Ryan Gosling.
When asked if he had ever planned on a quest in his own life, Evans stated that he was “going to give” [the interviewer] a good answer.”
“The answer would be that maybe… [I’m] laser focused on finding a partner, you know, someone you want to live with,” he told Shondaland in an interview published Friday.
He explained that it was hard to find love in Hollywood.
“I mean, look – I love what I do. It’s great; I’m totally immersed in it. But in terms of – even this industry is full of doubts, hesitations and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone where you really pour all of your own into it,” Evans said.
He continued, “Maybe it’s about trying to find someone you want to spend your life with. Yes, so maybe it is.”
The star of “Avengers: Endgame” recently dated fellow actor, Jenny Slate.
The former couple met on the set of the 2017 film ‘Gifted’, but eventually called it quits in March 2018.
“Chris feels neutral towards Jenny Slate and has no ill feelings towards her,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “[He] is happy for her.”
His ex also had nothing but kind things to say about him, as she gushed to Vulture in an April 2018 interview.
“What’s the same about us is not only that we’re from Massachusetts, which was such a joy, but Chris is really one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, to the point where sometimes I’d look at him and it would breaks my heart a little,” she said at the time.
‘He’s like primary colors. He’s got beautiful, big, strong emotions, and he’s really sure of them. It’s just great to be around. His heart is probably gold, if you could paint it.”
Evans has also been linked with Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly, and he was last rumored to be involved with Selena Gomez.
