Jennifer Lopez loved marrying Ben Affleck so much that she did it twice.
The “Gigli” actors staged a lavish ceremony at Affleck’s Georgia home for extended friends and family on Aug. 20, a month after their low-key Las Vegas wedding.
The bride wore a gorgeous short-sleeved dress with a cut-out back and a figure-hugging silhouette that transitioned into a long, ruffled train.
And to add extra drama, she wore a whopping 6-foot veil, covering all five of their children — Lopez’s 14-year-old twins Max and Emme, as well as Affleck’s Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, -. helped continue a walkway after the ceremony that led to the “plantation-style” home of Riceboro, Georgia.
Vidak For Congress previously reported that Lopez was expected to wear a tailored Ralph Lauren dress for the big day.
If she did indeed go with the American designer, J. Lo’s choice of the designer is fitting, as she wore Ralph Lauren to the 2021 Met Gala, shortly after her relationship with Affleck was revived. The ‘Hustlers’ star, 53, walked the red carpet without her beauty but met him at the party and showed loads of PDA.
A-list guests like Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel and officiant Jay Shetty wore all white to match the lavish embellishments and over-the-top floral displays. They were also treated to fireworks and live music at the raucous party.
The groom also wore a white tuxedo jacket and black pants, recreating the look she wore to their ceremony in Las Vegas last month.
This isn’t Lopez’s first look as Mrs. Affleck; she’s already worn two dresses to legally marry the ‘Argo’ actor, 50: a plain white Alexander McQueen halter dress that the star said she’d “saved for so many years,” as well as a more traditional yet glamorous Zuhair Murad dress.
Their three-day “intimate celebration for family and friends” kicked off with a Friday rehearsal dinner — which was tempered for a moment when Affleck’s mother was rushed to the hospital for a cut on her leg — and will include a barbecue picnic on Sunday.
