Ben Affleck gave the first glimpse of his wedding ring after his surprise Las Vegas wedding to Jennifer Lopez.
The “Deep Water” star was driving through Los Angeles and happened to stick his left hand out of his car window, prompting a paparazzo to snap a photo.
Affleck seemed exhausted behind the wheel, perhaps from the life-changing activities he took part in this weekend.
The 52-year-old ‘Marry Me’ star confirmed on Sunday evening in her On The JLo newsletter that she and Affleck, 49, had tied the knot.
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years of patience,” Lopez wrote, referring to their first canceled engagement two decades ago.
Lopez added that she wore “a dress from an old movie” as they exchanged vows in the “little chapel” and “gave each other the rings that we will wear for the rest of our lives.”
The “Waiting for Tonight” singer, who changed her name to Jennifer Affleck on the couple’s marriage license, showed off her wedding ring in a makeup-free photo she took out of bed after their big night.
A source told Vidak For Congress earlier this year that the couple planned to run away to avoid the press and paparazzi.
While the couple said “I do” in front of their kids in Sin City, they’re also planning a much bigger party in Georgia that will double as a birthday party for Lopez, who turns 53 on July 24.
According to our source, Lopez and Affleck want to do something for “everyone they love but couldn’t invite” to their little wedding in Vegas within two weeks. The couple said their ‘I do’ in front of their respective children from previous marriages.
Our source tells us close friends and family including Casey Affleck, Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel and Lopez’s “Shades of Blue” co-star Drea de Matteo have been invited.
