British reality star Lauren Goodger’s newborn daughter has died

British reality star Lauren Goodger has announced that her newborn daughter has died.

The “Only Way Is Essex” alum, who is also a mother to 11-month-old daughter Larose with boyfriend Charles Drury, announced Sunday that her second daughter, Lorena, died shortly after giving birth.

“👼Lorena👼 RIP 08.07.22,” Goodger wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her deceased baby’s hand holding her fingers.

“She was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen, just like her sister @babylarose.x….” Goodger continued. “words cannot describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried perfectly all these months and also gave birth so that my angel was taken from me 👼.”

Goodger, 35, did not reveal the cause of death but wrote: “there were no pregnancy or delivery complications and she was fine and healthy…just know there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand . †

The former ‘Celebs Go Dating’ star wrote heartbreakingly that she is “broken” but added that she and Drury “spent so much time with our girl Lorena.”

“I haven’t said goodbye yet,” she added.

Having documented her growing baby bump and experiences during her pregnancy, Goodger shared in May that she opted for a home birth with the help of a doula.

“I am absolutely exhausted with minimal support and hands full 24/7 with my @babylarose.x so am so grateful to have this help, it’s a reassurance and can’t wait to share the experience with you guys 💕💕 💕,” she wrote alongside a selfie of her and her doula.
