Audrina Patridge’s ex Corey Bohan accused her of having an affair with her “Dancing With the Stars” partner Tony Dovolani, she claims in her new memoir.
“Tony is a happily married man with three beautiful children,” writes the 37-year-old Hills alum in Choices: To the Hills and Back Again. “He’s a real family man – period, period. There wasn’t even a hint of anything inappropriate! But he didn’t let it go.”
Patridge took part in season 11 of ABC’s competition series in 2010, a time when she and Bohan, now 40, were experiencing one of the many difficult moments in their relationship.
The Prey Swim founder claims the former BMX athlete was jealous of her interactions with Dovolani, now 49, and that she would make mean comments.
“Every day he would make rude, nasty comments about Tony and what he knew for sure,” she claims in the book. “Corey accused me of making the dances too sexy and inappropriate, as if I had control over the steps of the tango.”
When Patridge came home from “DWTS” rehearsals or recordings, she claims that Bohan was “always in” [her] face’, insinuating that her collaboration with Dovolani evolved from professional to ‘something sexual’.
The reality star turned author claims that Bohan would call or text “constantly” during her “DWTS” term.
She writes that she was embarrassed that people were starting to notice and that the stress of it all affected her rehearsals.
Patridge says Bohan’s comments sometimes made her question herself, casting a cloud over her “DWTS” experience.
Though he would reportedly break out on Patridge behind closed doors, he made an effort to support her at live shows twice a week.
“He acted so loving and proud of me in front of the cameras and the other dancers, before blowing up and yelling at me when we got home,” she claims, adding that she “started to collapse” toward the end of her life. time on the dance show.
Patridge was knocked out after six weeks, her last dances being a Paso Doble on Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust” and a rock and roll inspired song on ZZ Top’s “La Grange.”
Bohan and Patridge eventually welcomed daughter Kirra, now 6, in June 2016 and married in Hawaii five months later.
However, Patridge filed for divorce from Bohan in September 2017 after less than a year of marriage – citing irreconcilable differences over an alleged violent outburst.
Bohan denied Patridge’s allegations of abuse. She got full custody of their daughter. The couple finalized their divorce in December 2018.
Meanwhile, Dovolani remains married to his wife of 23, Lina Dovolani. They share children Luana, 16, and 14-year-old twins Adrian and Ariana.
“Choices: To the Hills and Back Again” is out now. Vidak For Congress has reached out to Bohan and Dovolani for comment.
