Angelina Jolie’s 17-year-old daughter, Zahara, is starting her freshman year at Spelman College in Atlanta.

The actress, 47, posted an Instagram photo of “Zahara with her Spelman sisters” on Sunday.

The teen was all smiles posing for the photo in a white T-shirt and jeans.

“Congratulations to all the new students starting this year,” Jolie wrote on social media upload. “A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl.”

Founded in 1881, Spelman is a “historically black university and a world leader in the education of women of African descent,” according to the private school’s website.

When the “Maleficent” star dropped off her and ex-husband Brad Pitt’s son at Yonsei, she was filmed telling other students she was “trying not to cry.”

Pitt, 58, was absent from the drop-off, and Maddox told a reporter the following month that he didn’t know if his father planned to visit him.

“Well, whatever happens, happens,” he said in September 2019 amid their strained relationship.

Jolie and her “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” co-star retired in September 2016.

Although they were declared legally single almost three years later, the former couple’s legal battle is still ongoing.

Pitt was granted joint custody of their minor children in May 2021.

However, Judge John Ouderkirk was subsequently disqualified from the case for failing to disclose business relationships with Pitt’s lawyers, so the exes are still fighting over custody.
