Amanda Bynes enrolls in cosmetology school to become a manicurist

She is the man-icuriste.

Amanda Bynes announced on social media on Friday that she has embarked on a new career path.

“At cosmetology school to become a manicurist!” the “She’s The Man” star, 36, captioned a video on her Instagram story.

Bynes – who rarely posts online – showed herself in front of the camera through a mirror and she appeared dressed in an all black outfit with her dark hair in a ponytail.

The “Hairspray” star then gave a mini-class tour that resembled a nail salon.

She also gave a close-up of acrylic nails painted in black and silver.

It is unclear how long Bynes has been part of this new venture. Her representative did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.

However, it has been years since the former Nickelodeon star announced his retirement from acting.

Bynes tweeted in 2013 from a now-deleted account: “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it seems. If I don’t like something anymore, I quit. I don’t like acting anymore, so I quit. I know that 24 a young age is to retire, but you heard it here first.”

The revelation came amid a time when the “What I Like About You” star was running into legal trouble, forcing her to go into receivership.

She was in and out of school due to some mental health issues, but was able to graduate in June 2019 after nearly five years at FIDM.

However, leading up to the end of her conservatory, Bynes revealed that she decided to express her creativity through an outlet other than fashion: music.

The ‘What A Girl Wants’ star released her first rap song in January 2021 and then a second rap song in April, a month after her conservatory officially ended.
