Is it romance or is it a ruse?
A source close to Yung Gravy told Vidak For Congress they believe the famed rapper’s romance with Addison Rae’s mother, Sheri Nicole Easterling, is nothing more than “viral bait.”
“It’s a PR relationship. It’s kissing, but it’s not real,” the source said.
They went on to say that Yung Gravy, 26, usually goes for “young fucking blonde girls like Tana Mongeau”, adding: “I don’t think in real life he’s just greedy for older ladies. That’s just [not] Real.”
The insider further claimed that Yung Gravy – born Matthew Raymond Hauri – was chatting with a 25-year-old blonde friend of theirs via Instagram.
On Sunday, the “Betty” rapper and Easterling, 42, had everyone buzzing as they arrived at the 2022 MTV VMAs together following her divorce from her estranged husband, Monty Lopez, 46, over cheating.
On the red carpet, Yung Gravy told Vidak For Congress that the two had met on “the Internet” and had “FaceTimed” a few times before meeting in person.
“I hit her first. I knew her and I thought she was fine,” he said.
However, the source told us Easterling could have other reasons why she started dating Gravy.
The source hinted that because of Lopez’s alleged affair with 25-year-old Renée Ash, Easterling is “going to find the hottest kid — and it would be Pete Davidson if she could have landed him, but the best-case scenario is Yung Gravy.”
Representatives for Gravy and Easterling did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.
After the PDA-filled night, Gravy took to social media to defend Easterling from all the internet hatred.
“she’s just single and living her life. leave her alone lol, “the musician wrote on Twitter in response to a video of him kissing his newfound love interest on the red carpet.
However, Rae doesn’t feel the same way. A source told Vidak For Congress on Tuesday that the TikTok star has been “mortified” by the drama involving her parents.
“Addison has seen her parents go through many ups and downs over the years, but everything that is happening right now is extremely overwhelming for her,” the source said.
