The woman scorned by Addison Rae’s father doesn’t believe he regrets tricking her into an affair.
“He doesn’t seem to regret it. His response to all the other girls and myself was an Instagram story that went viral, ‘Am I the bad guy?’” Renée Ash tells Vidak For Congress exclusively about Monty Lopez.
Lopez, 46, later shared Ash’s July 7 interview with us on his Instagram page with no context, she notes.
“He also posted the original article on his Story, almost bragging about it?” Ash, 25, says. “Maybe that’s his way of dealing with this. I’m not sure.”
Lopez did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.
He was previously exposed for allegedly forcing Ash into a five-month relationship under the guise that his marriage to Sheri Nicole Easterling was over when it wasn’t.
“Unfortunately, he misled me about his marriage, he lied to me,” Ash said last week. “He told me we would be together and have babies together.”
Screenshots of alleged text messages and WhatsApp exchanges obtained by Vidak For Congress illustrated the promises Lopez would have made to the young Los Angeles resident about their future. Lopez allegedly bragged that he and Ash were a “power couple,” according to various screenshots, and planned to move in with her, get married, and start a family.
“He even introduced me to his mother, his youngest brother, and I thought we had something real,” she explained to us. “He told me a story about his marriage that convinced me that they had broken up and were divorcing.”
In a 2020 interview with Seventeen, Rae, now 21, revealed that her parents – who first tied the knot in 2004 – often separated during her childhood before finally remarrying in 2017.
Neither Lopez nor Easterling, 42, have filed for a second divorce, although the latter has since updated her Instagram bio to read “single mom.”
Meanwhile, Lopez’s biography still states that he is a “husband” to Easterling and a “father” to Rae – although both women have remarkably unfollowed him.
Asked about Easterling’s social media switch, Ash tells Vidak For Congress that it “makes my stomach turn, even though I’ve been told it does all the time.”
Lopez lives in LA — like his famous daughter, albeit separately — while Easterling lives in the family’s native Louisiana with the couple’s sons, Enzo (14) and Lucas (8).
Ash, who reportedly experienced pregnancy anxiety with Lopez, has expressed regret for the pain she caused Easterling and her children.
“I can’t say much but I’m sorry I believe his lies,” she says, imagining what else she would say to Easterling and Rae if she had the chance to chat with the mother-daughter duo.
“At best, we could bond about how terribly this man had treated everyone.”
Ash claimed she broke up with Lopez last week after several girls accused him of hitting them in person and even via FaceTime.
The final straw, she said, was leaked footage of Lopez allegedly stroking a woman’s behind during a night out at a bar.
The viral clip — which has since been deleted by TikTok user @marlig_ — features a young blonde claiming, “Addison Rae’s dad is trying to fk me, I swear to God” before a man who looks like Lopez touches her behind.
“If anyone was hurt, it was me and his family. I’m very sorry about that,” said Ash, who claims she started dating Lopez in March after meeting him through a mutual friend.
“I loved him and I believed him. When I heard about the other young girls, my heart broke.”
Since sharing her story, Ash says she has been affected by an influx of hate on social media, including death threats.
“Honestly, I tried not to look as much as possible,” she says. “People put the whole situation on me in a very evil, angry way.”
However, Ash points out that she is grateful to be in touch with some of the women who have felt empowered by her decision to speak out.
“These are the people who help me and don’t listen to the haters,” she explains.
“Others have thanked me for being open about this as they have been in a similar situation and wished they had a platform to speak out. There are many good people.”
The support comes along with Ash rejecting Lopez’s alleged attempts at communication. She’s purposely ignoring his post-breakup calls, she says — and will let other potential suitors read for now.
“I don’t want to be around a man for a long time,” she says with a laugh. “But no, when I’m ready and meeting someone great, I’m going to have to take it really easy. Most importantly, not someone who claims not to be married. And I will be wary of erratic lyrics and extravagant promises.”
Lopez – who rose to fame alongside Rae and has amassed 5.4 TikTok followers of his own – was spotted at a Hollywood In-N-Out a day before Vidak For Congress revealed his alleged affair with two young women.
To all the women the middle-aged influencer is trying to reach, Ash advises: “Run”.
