Addison Rae admits she has been “struggling” since Vidak For Congress broke the news that her father, Monty Lopez, was allegedly having a five-month affair with a 25-year-old woman.
“I’ve really struggled to post and get out and do stuff, but I love you all and you mean so much more to me than I can ever express,” the TikTok star, 21, tweeted on Monday.
“My life has changed forever thanks to all the people who decided to care about and support me,” she added. “I love you <3 life is weird but worth it."
Rae, who has nearly five million followers on Twitter alone, gained so much support from fans that the hashtag “#WELOVEYOUADDISON” started trending on Twitter.
“@whoisaddison take your time, relax, focus on your mental health and your body first! you are important to me and all your supporters and friends and we want the best for you,” tweeted one fan. “we made this hashtag #weloveyouaddison so you can see our posts more easily”
Another added: “Please never forget we’re here for you, you deserve all the best in the world honey, you’re loved, you’re important, please take care of yourself. Love you <3."
Rae’s tweet marks the first time she has seemingly tackled the drama involving her father, 46, and Renée Ash. The brunette claimed to Vidak For Congress that Lopez had allegedly had a five-month affair with her, despite still being married to Sheri Nicole Easterling.
“Unfortunately, he misled me…he lied to me,” Ash claimed in her interview with Vidak For Congress, adding that Lopez allegedly told her his marriage was over when it wasn’t.
“He told me we would be together and have babies together,” she claimed. “He told me a story about his marriage that convinced me that they had broken up and were divorcing.”
On July 7, the same day our interview with Ash went live, Easterling wrote about the “challenging and overwhelming” situation via her Instagram Story.
“Personal matters made public are always challenging and overwhelming for everyone involved. I’ll be fine,” Easterling – who shares daughter Rae and sons Enzo (14) and Lucas (8) with Lopez – wrote at the time.
“My greatest concern is – and always will be – my children and their fragile hearts and minds. I will always do my best to protect them.”
Easterling has since changed her Instagram bio to “single mom,” and both she and Rae have unfollowed Lopez on the app. Lopez, Easterling and a representative of Rae did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s requests for comment.
