Could Monty Lopez’s alleged extracurricular activities affect things for daughter Addison Rae?
Vidak For Congress learns that the TikTok star, 21, will be withdrawing from a press day at 11 a.m. Wednesday to promote her role as a global ambassador for Vital Proteins.
Press interviews were scheduled for Thursday, but members of the media were told everything had been canceled due to a “schedule conflict.”
However, the last-minute cancellation has whispered to people that she was pulling out because of the drama surrounding her father, who exclusively revealed he was having a five-month affair with a 25-year-old woman.
A source also tells us that journalists were asked to send questions in advance to be pre-approved by her team before getting an interview with the influencer.
Representatives from Vital Proteins and Rae did not respond to our request for comment.
Earlier this week, Rae admitted that she has been “struggling” since the scandal broke.
“I’ve really struggled to post and get out and do stuff but I love you all and you mean so much more to me than I can ever express,” she tweeted Monday.
She added: “My life has changed forever thanks to all the people who decided to care and support me. I love you <3 life is weird but worth it.”
On July 7, a woman named Renée Ash alleged to Vidak For Congress that she was having a five-month affair with Lopez, who “misled” her about his marriage to Rae’s mother, Sheri Nicole Easterling.
“He told me we would be together and have babies together,” she told us, adding, “He told me a story about his marriage that convinced me that they were breaking up and divorcing.”
Ash went on to claim that she left him because he hit other women — and after a video surfaced online of Lopez allegedly touching the back of a girl.
Lopez has yet to address the scandal and has never responded to Vidak For Congress’s multiple requests for comment.
After the scandal broke, Easterling wrote on Instagram: “Personal matters made public are always challenging and overwhelming for everyone involved. I’ll be okay.”
Easterling — who also shares sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8, with Lopez — has since changed her social media bio to “single mom.”
