Brad Pitt dismisses ex-wife Angelina Jolie’s accusations that he physically assaulted her and their children during a tumultuous private jet flight in 2016.
The representative of the “Fight Club” star told CNN on Wednesday that the allegations in a new counter-charge filed on Oct. 4 are “completely false.”
Jolie, 47, claimed in court documents previously obtained by Vidak For Congress that Pitt, 58, “choked one of the children and punched another in the face” during a dispute that took place while the family traveled from France to California.
The “Maleficent” star also claimed in the lawsuit that her then-husband “grabbed her by the head and shook her.”
The FBI investigated Pitt in 2016 for alleged child abuse.
Jolie gave federal authorities photos of the bruises she claimed suffered as a result of the “Fury” star’s alleged assault.
Footage appeared to show injuries to the “Salt” star’s hand, back and elbow.
However, authorities concluded that there was no need to file a criminal charge against Pitt due to “various factors,” according to court records obtained by Vidak For Congress.
However, Jolie argued in the new counter-indictment that the FBI agent investigating the allegations “had probable cause to charge Pitt with a federal felony for his conduct that day.”
Meanwhile, Pitt has tried to change his life by getting sober in 2019.
Sources close to the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star told TMZ on Wednesday that Jolie’s “repeated” accusations are an attempt to alienate her six children from their father.
The former couple – who married in August 2014 – share Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, Vivienne, 14 and Knox, 14.
The insiders also told the outlet that Jolie told the abuse allegations in “great detail” in her counter-charge — even though it has “zero” to do with the actual lawsuit.
The filing was made in response to a separate lawsuit that Pitt had filed months earlier against Jolie over the sale of her interest in their French chateau.
The “Tomb Raider” star claimed in the documents that Pitt tried to get her to sign a nondisclosure agreement to silence her about the alleged “physical and emotional abuse of her and their children” as a condition of an agreement they had about the sale of Château Miraval and its profitable vineyard, but she refused.
Sources told TMZ that Jolie has reportedly “poisoned” their children against their father and as a result, he has little to no relationship with them.
Representatives for Jolie and Pitt did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.
