The model’s “glazed donut” nails are going viral on social media all summer, as is her shiny, shiny skincare trend of the same name.
Bieber, 25, debuted the iridescent off-white look at the 2022 Met Gala in May, teaming up with LA-based nail technician Zola Ganzorigt to create the perfect dewy matte mani to complement her silky white Saint Laurent gown trimmed with feathers.
In July, Ganzorigt told Vidak For Congress Style that she was “really surprised” to see the trend pick up on TikTok.
“Originally we only made translucent white, but after I applied the color I asked Hailey to try the chrome effect as it would match her dress. That’s how we found out [the] “glazed donut” nail,” she explained, adding that it’s “very simple, but catches everyone’s attention” and that “once you have it, you become addicted to it.”
