The 2000s exposed thong revival is nothing new — just look to stars like Jennifer Lopez, Julia Fox and Dua Lipa for proof — but Doja Cat takes it one step further with her statement G-string.
The “Say So” singer was out shopping in Calabasas, California, last week wearing a cropped ringer t-shirt ($35) printed with “Yes” in bold red font, along with a matching white thong ( $25) adorned with the same word – both from her brand new clothing line, It’s Giving.
The Grammy winner topped (if you can call it that) with an open-front denim miniskirt that hung low enough to make her strappy underwear flash, and further boosted the vibes with an It’s Giving trucker hat ($30), sneakers with chunky soles and a pink bedazzled Balenciaga Le Cagole bag ($7,000).
Doja later ditched the skirt to provide her new brand with a series of sultry Instagram snaps — and give fans a peek at her drawn eyebrows cut in half with little black hearts.
The 26-year-old performer unveiled a fresh buzzcut earlier this month and shaved her eyebrows. “I feel like I should never have had her anyway,” she told fans on Instagram Live at the time. “I don’t like having her.”
In the weeks since, Doja’s experimented by accentuating her pencil-drawn eyebrows with tiny apples, flowers and other artwork — and fiercely defending her new look against social media critics.
“I’m making hit after hit after hit and you all want me to look f-kable for you so you can go home and pull your c-ks all day while you live with your mom [sic] basement,” she tweeted to the haters last week, adding, “go f-k yourself.”
