Hailie Mathers is about to get into the fashion industry.
Eminem’s daughter, 26, announced on Instagram that she’s hosting a podcast — aptly named “Just a Little Shady” — and, as first reported by The Sun, has filed a trademark application for clothing and “non-medicated skin care preparations” in combination. with her new entertainment brand, Hailie Jade, LLC.
According to documents obtained by Vidak For Congress Style, Mathers also filed in June to trademark her podcast name and to sell “hats, shirts, and dress coats” with the brand.
As a brand ambassador for Garnier USA and Puma, the daughter of the singer “Lose Yourself” is already well versed in the fashion and beauty world.
“Just a little shady podcast is about to fall!” she posted on Instagram on Tuesday. “This project has been in the works for a while and I’m so excited to see the first episode launch!!”
The “Hailie’s Song” muse also tagged the podcast’s Instagram handle, @justalittleshadypodcast, with his bio-proclamation: “let’s talk about my life, pop culture, and get a little dark.”
The influencer already has a huge following on social media, with 2.7 million Instagram followers and nearly a million on TikTok — and fans were excited to hear the news.
“The name is ICONIC!” one follower commented, while another added, “An episode with Em would break the internet.”
Her famous father also made a foray into the clothing world in the early 2000s with his now-defunct brand Shady Ltd. and has since launched T-shirts with Chrysler and Title Boxing.
The podcast’s announcement comes as a surprise to the normally private daughter of celebrities.
Despite having an impressive online following, Mathers generally keeps to herself when it comes to sharing details about her personal life — though she shared a rare PDA photo with her boyfriend, Evan McClintock earlier this year.
As for her rapper dad, Mathers supported Eminem when he performed at this year’s Superbowl, sharing her excitement over the halftime show in an Instagram snapshot.
But will the real Slim Shady also appear on Little Shady’s pod? We’ll have to wait and see.
