They’re really trying to get a Rise out of Nick Cannon.
Netizens flooded Twitter with jokes that made fun of the “Wild ‘n Out” star for naming his 10th baby Rise Messiah.
Cannon, 41, announced he and Brittany Bell welcomed their third child together last week in a sweet message on Instagram on Friday.
“WELCOME RISE MESSIAH CANNON,” Cannon wrote in a post on his Instagram story, along with the date of his newborn’s arrival, “9/23/2022.”
He continued, “Probably the hardest labor and delivery I’ve ever experienced!” he added to his roster in a long post. “48 Hours of Agony and Life at Risk for Welcoming 10 Pounds of Love and Joy Called RISE MESSIAH CANNON.”
But netizens couldn’t help but scoff at Cannon’s baby name choice.
“Why does Nick Cannon keep calling these kids these bizarre names?” one critic early.
โCan we make Nick Cannon disappear permanently for naming his child Rise Cannon? More specifically, Rise Messiah Cannon?โ a second person pleaded.
“They won’t have names anymore lol,” a third jokedreferring to Cannon with nine other children.
“Damn nick, I hope you can remember each of their names without screwing up๐๐ฌ๐ซ ๐,” a troll wrote.
“I hate it when people bring God into their fโksโt๐”, another added.
โI didn’t think they could top Powerful Queen, but Rise Messiah takes the cake,โ someone saidreferring to the name of Cannon’s daughter.
โSTA MESSIAH???!!! That’s a lot to live up to. What if the kid just wants to be a vet or work at Best Buy?โ another joked.
“Another Avenger for Nick Cannon, Agent of SHIELD (Strategic Human Inventory, Evolution & Longevity Division)” said another critic.
Cannon and Bell already share a 1-year-old daughter Powerful Queen and a 5-year-old son Golden.
The “All That” alum also has 11-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
In addition, he and Abby De La Rosa share 1-year-old twins, Zion and Zillion, whom they welcomed in June 2021. That same month, Cannon welcomed baby boy Zen with Alyssa Scott, but he died in December 2021 after a battle with brain cancer.
Meanwhile, Cannon and Bre Tiesi welcomed a son, Legendary, in June of this year, and he and Lanisha Cole welcomed daughter Onyx earlier this month.
Cannon may also have his 11th baby after De La Rosa announced in June that she was pregnant with her third child.
While she didn’t confirm Cannon is the father, the “Masked Singer” host shared on a podcast that a stork was “on the way.”
