Nick Cannon’s Ninth Baby Has Arrived!
The 41-year-old presenter of “Wild ‘N Out” surprised his Instagram followers on Thursday with a black and white photo of him and Lanisha Cole’s first child together.
“Introducing ONYX ICE COLE CANNON,” the “All That” alum gushed from his baby girl. “Once again today I am impressed by the divine feminine!
“God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting an angel here on Earth,” the former Nickelodeon star continued. “I promise to protect, provide, guide and love this child as best I can.”
The “Masked Singer” host asked his fans to “rejoice” at the news of his growing family, writing: “We all learn so much from these angels we call children. I’m learning that it’s not the limited amount time we have on this planet, but it’s the limited amount of love that’s the problem. And I promise to love this little girl with all my heart, no matter what anyone says.”
For those who remain critical, Cannon asked, “I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism on ME and not on the loving and precious mothers of my children.”
Cannon called Cole, 40, “one of the most unsuspecting, peaceful and non-confrontational kind souls” he knows, adding: “[She] deserves only to enjoy this moment of blissful joy of motherhood. Please give her that.”
In a post of his own, Cole wrote, “Onyx Ice Cole Cannon 9-14-22.”
The model added via Instagram Stories that her heart was “opened in a huge way” by the birth of her daughter, concluding: “She is surrounded by so much love and I’m already obsessed with her!”
The “Drumline” star’s social media upload comes nearly a month after revealing that he and Brittany Bell are expecting their third baby together. (The duo also shares son Golden, 5, and daughter Powerful, 1.)
There is also speculation that Cannon is the father of pregnant Abby De La Rosa’s impending arrival, as the couple welcomed twins Zion and Zillion, 1 earlier in June 2021.
That same month, Alyssa Scott gave birth to their son Zen, but the 5-year-old died in December 2021 after battling brain cancer.
Cannon also shares 11-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with Mariah Carey, as well as son Legendary, 2 months, with Bre Tiesi.
The 31-year-old ‘Selling Sunset’ star clarified in a podcast episode ‘Know For Sure’ in June that she and the other mothers of Cannon’s children are not in a ‘cult’.
Tiesi explained: “Everything is respectful. Everything is fair.”
As for De La Rosa, the 31-year-old DJ defended her “polyamorous relationship” with the actor to the podcast hosts of “Lovers and Friends” on Tuesday.
“The fact that I’m open in my relationship doesn’t change or take away from the type of mother I am to my children and the wholeness I am to them and the strength I share with them,” said the star-to-be.
