Ashley Darby hinted that her marriage to estranged husband Michael Darby isn’t quite over in the new season 7 trailer for “Real Housewives of Potomac.”
“I found a house with Michael!” Ashley, 34, excitedly tells co-stars Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant.
Both women gasp as Huger, 59, snaps back: “This isn’t a fucking divorce!”
The idea of the exes – who share sons Dean, 3, and Dylan, 1 – buying a house together is seemingly becoming a topic of conversation throughout the new season.
“You don’t buy a house with a man you’re divorcing,” argues Bryant, 51, although it seems Ashley doesn’t quite understand the dilemma.
Later in the trailer, Ashley admits she struggles to connect with Michael, 63, and ends up having an emotional conversation with some of her loved ones.
“I’m going to be responsible for the well-being of these two children,” Ashley says with tears in her eyes.
Ashley’s uncle then bluntly tells her that if Michael “wants nothing to do” with her family, he “can’t say he’s a good man.”
The Bravolebrity, 29 years younger than Michael, announced their divorce in April.
“People will quickly assume that the causes were too much interference from reality TV in the most personal parts of our lives, issues with age differences, cultural issues or differences in parenting,” she said in a statement to the Daily Dish. ” at the time.
The Darbys married in May 2014, and their marriage has been a topic of conversation since the hit Bravo show premiered in January 2016.
Michael has faced several accusations over the years, including a cameraman who claimed he groped him while filming Season 4.
He was charged with both aggravated assault and inappropriate sexual contact, but the case was later dismissed.
In Season 5, the real estate mogul was caught wearing boxers in a hotel room while Ashley was away on a cast trip. He claimed at the time that he went to a strip club and casino, got drunk, fell asleep and woke up next to a random woman in bed.
Season 7 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” premieres Sunday, October 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
