Why Kate Middleton Won’t Travel to Queen Elizabeth II’s Bed

Kate Middleton puts her children first.

The 40-year-old Duchess of Cambridge reportedly did not rush to Queen Elizabeth II’s bedside with her husband, Prince William, on Thursday to stay with their three children.

Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, started a preview day to school on Wednesday, looking too cute in matching uniforms holding their parents’ hands.

The little ones, who previously went to Thomas’s Battersea in London, will have their first official day of school on Thursday at Lambrook School in Windsor, England.

With the royal siblings in school, William went to Balmoral, Scotland alone to see his ailing grandmother.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will also join their relatives and cancel a planned engagement during their trip to the UK.

Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie were also on their way to the castle, where Princess Anne has been this week for royal engagements.

Buckingham Palace released a statement on Thursday about the escalating health problems of the 96-year-old monarch.

“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended that she remain under medical supervision,” a royal spokesperson announced, calling the Queen “comfortable”.

Prime Minister Liz Truss, for her part, told the Royal Family that her “thoughts – and the thoughts of people in our UK – are with Her Majesty the Queen.”

The politician, 47, tweeted: “The whole country will be deeply concerned this luncheon over the news from Buckingham Palace.”
