Rumor has it that he’s the one she said ‘I do’ to.
Eagle-eyed fans are convinced that Adele accidentally revealed that she and her boyfriend, Rich Paul, are secretly married.
The “Easy on Me” singer celebrated winning her first Emmy on Sunday with a series of Instagram selfies, but a photo showed the trophy on her coffee table with one particular accessory that threw her 50.8 million followers for a loop.
The background of the snap showed a modified game of Rummikub — which fans have noticed the pair enjoy playing — labeled “The Paul’s” on the outside.
“’The Paul’s’ are you married?! ‘ asked one fan.
“She gave us two announcements in one message. I love her energy,” another commented, nothing winning the Emmy and the possible marriage.
“’The Paul’s’” MY GIRL IS MARRIED!” a third fan excitedly suspected.
However, the misplaced apostrophe confused fans even more, as it could just be Paul’s game or a wedding gift from a well-meaning but grammatically ignorant loved one.
“If they were married it wouldn’t be Paul’s, it would be Paul’s,” said one fan.
“Can’t say if I’m more excited about it or upset by the poor punctuation,” wrote another.
Adele has kept quiet about the speculation and her representatives did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.
If the EGO winner, 34, and the sports agent, 40, tied the knot, they would have had a quick engagement—or none at all.
Adele denied engagement rumors in her September 2022 Elle cover story after wearing a huge diamond ring to the Brit Awards in February.
“I’m not engaged. I just like high-end jewelry, kid!” she explained to the magazine, later adding that she was also “not married.”
“I’ve never been so in love. I’m obsessed with him,” she gushed. “I definitely want more children. I’m a housewife and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music.”
The “Someone Like You” singer confirmed her relationship with Paul in July 2021 after finalizing her divorce from Simon Konecki, with whom she shares 9-year-old son Angelo.
