Could Christie Brinkley be fishing for an appearance on the survival skills show “Running Wild?”
When asked which “handsome celebrity” Brinkley would like to be on a desert island with, the supermodel told Social Life Magazine, “Well, Bear Grylls because he would take good care of us.”
If she adds that her ideal date with the British adventurer, known for his show ‘Man vs Wild’, would be that he would be ‘Take me for a sail’. And that she hopes he “would have a great sense of humor and joie de vivre”.
The father of three Grylls – who has taken celebrities like Zac Efron and Channing Tatum to remote locations on “Running Wild” – is married and married his wife Shara in 2000.
Brinkley has a legendary love life. She has been married four times and tied the knot with Richard Taubman, Jean-François Allaux and rocker Billy Joel. Her 2006 divorce from architect Peter Cook was messy and public, with Cook cheating on her with an 18-year-old. (Cook, 63, got engaged to a college student in her early 20s in 2019.)
When asked about her current relationship status, Brinkley eloquently told the magazine, “The love of my life is my life. I love my life and if any other form of love comes into play, and if not, then it’s it fine.”
And don’t expect to see her on Hinge. She says she would never use a dating app.
When it comes to the advice she gives her kids about relationships, she says, “I tell them to smile and trust. The kind of trust you can only have with someone who’s willing to go through the ups and downs with you.” go… You must have love. Lots of love.”
Brinkley will host Social Life Magazine’s first Polo Tournament in the Hamptons on July 23 with publisher Justin Mitchell.
