Tyler Stanaland was spotted hanging out with his “Selling the OC” co-star Alex Hall hours after his estranged wife Brittany Snow announced their split on social media.
According to TMZ, Hall and Stanaland were caught near sushi restaurant SOTA in Corona del Mar on Wednesday.
A source told the outlet that while there was no explicit PDA, the two definitely gave off vibes in a way that didn’t seem quite platonic.
The six-person dinner also included castmate Polly Brindle, with whom Stanaland, 33, has also reportedly cultivated a flirtatious dynamic on the show, per US Weekly.
Representatives from Hall and Stanaland did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.
Earlier on Wednesday, Snow announced their breakup after two years of marriage alongside a black and white photo of the couple on the subway.
“After some time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” the 33-year-old ‘Pitch Perfect’ star captioned the photo.
“We’ve realized we need some time to make sure we’re all living our most fulfilling and authentic lives… We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”
Stanaland posted the same statement to his account.
“Anyone who knows Tyler and Brittany knows she wasn’t comfortable with the show,” a source told Vidak For Congress of what led to the split. “That’s why he tried his best to keep his marriage and the show separate, but it only failed.”
Another insider confirmed: “The show basically destroyed their marriage. Brittany wasn’t happy with what she saw.”
The OC broker has been heavily criticized for his flirting with co-stars, including Hall, on the Netflix reality show.
“I’m not really sorry because I’d do it again,” Hall told Vidak For Congress earlier this month of her flirty moments with married Stanaland.
Snow and Stanaland married in March 2020 after dating for two years. The couple does not share any children.
