Tyler Stanaland Didn’t Want Brittany Snow on ‘Selling the OC’

Tyler Stanaland, ‘Selling the OC’ star, isn’t ready to let cameras into his wedding to Brittany Snow.

“I don’t know anything about the future,” he said on Wednesday’s episode of the “Reality Life with Kate Casey” podcast. “But in this particular season you will not see my house, you will not see my wife.”

The 33-year-old surfer-turned-real estate professional noted that he wanted to keep “certain parts” of his life “private” when he entered the unscripted space.

“And as time goes on, maybe that will be different,” he continued. “But for now, that was the only thing that made me feel safe to embark on such a strange journey.”

Stanaland married the 36-year-old ‘Pitch Perfect’ actress in March 2020, after two years of dating.

The reality star details the origins of their romance with host Kate Casey.

“We got to know each other through mutual friends, but how we started talking was through social media. I slipped into her DMs,” he said.

“But there were some connection points where we kind of knew who each other was and then all of a sudden it ends with the worst pick-up line ever. And she somehow resigned and got married.”

The chilling pick-me-up was uttered at an event where Snow looked amazing, Stanaland recalled, “And so I said, ‘Babe Town, USA, Population, YOU. Nothing else, just that.”

Stanaland is one of several Oppenheim Group agents who star in Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” spin-off. A dramatic storyline includes accusations that cast member Kayla Cardona tried to kiss the married man twice.

“One night Kayla tried to kiss me. And then it happened another night,” he claimed. “And so on the show, out of respect for her, I just try to minimize it a little bit and pass it by so there’s no drama. We can all focus on what we should do.”

Stanaland noted that the alleged incidents – which were not caught on camera – forced him to “set hard lines and boundaries” with Cardona.

“Nothing happened,” he said. “It was just . . . something you don’t, you know, do to someone who’s married.”
