The hit maker “Hold Me Closer” stunned her 56 million Twitter followers featuring one of her signature dance videos Wednesday, showing off her “Little Mermaid”-worthy long locks in the process
Spears, 40, danced topless in nothing but tiny pink bikini bottoms and sky-high platform heels, parading around her house to show off her medium-length locks.
“First time I have really long hair!!!” wrote the pop star.
“It’s different…serving angry mermaid vibes I guess ️️ except I have legs 😏!!!”
Oh, and just in case followers suspected the clip was sponsored content, Spears added, “Psss, this isn’t a hair commercial 🤭!!!”
fans compared the star to another famous mermaid — Daryl Hannah’s Madison in “Splash” — and asked if the new haircut was for a “Hold Me Closer” music video alongside Elton John.
This isn’t nearly the first time the former teenage queen has proudly posted a topless photo post-conservatorship — though she mostly uses her hands as a bra, not her hair.
She has become notorious for her quirky social media posts, flaunting toilet paper earrings and lengthy posts explaining her side of the story in the past.
