Thomas Ravenel Rips Bravo After Kathryn Dennis’ Custody Battle

Thomas Ravenel lashed out at Bravo over his past custody issues with “Southern Charm” star Kathryn Dennis.

“If I lost all custody of my children, all the Bravo-controlled media would be talking about what a terrible father I am,” tweeted the former politician, 60, and quickly deleted on Monday.

“Instead, since I have full custody, the story is that I bought off the system and Family Court is corrupt,” the wealthy socialite noted before adding, “I think Bravo is corrupt.”

While it’s unclear what prompted the post, Dennis, 31, temporarily lost custody of the exes’ two children – daughter Kensington (Kensie), 8, and son St. Julien (Saint), 6 – last March. March. (Ravenel is also the father of son Jonathan, 2, who he shares with ex-fiancée Heather Mascoe.)

At the time, the parameters of the legal regulation meant that Dennis supervised the children on weekends.

The exact reason for the change from joint to primary custody remains unknown as the documents were sealed, at Dennis’ request in December 2020.

However, the decision came on the heels of a lengthy and gruesome custody battle between the former flames, some of which was captured during the early seasons of Bravo’s “Southern Charm.”

The unlikely couple dated sporadically for two years before breaking up in 2016.

Before their business went private, Thomas accused Dennis and her then-boyfriend, Chleb Ravenell, of using cocaine while on vacation with the kids and even getting some “inside [their] grab.”

Dennis denied the allegations, telling the court that she “[does] not use cocaine” and therefore “couldn’t have left out cocaine for” [the] children to gain access.”

According to her most recent ex-boyfriend Ravenell (who is not related to Ravenel, although Craig Conover previously claimed that Ravenel’s family once owned Ravenell’s as slaves), Dennis’ custody issues played a major role in their split last November.

“Just seeing her go through that was painful,” Ravenell, 34, told E! News from last month in which he claimed his efforts to “make her happy” fell short.

“Because she was dealing with all of this, she didn’t really realize what I was actually trying to do,” he added. “She had too much on her mind.”
