The children of ‘Octomom’ Nadya Suleman start grade 8: school photo

‘Octomom’ Nadya Suleman’s eight youngest children are now in eighth grade.

The 47-year-old shared a back-to-school photo of the octuplets on Instagram on Tuesday, calling them “exceptional role models.”

She gushed, “Be proud of yourselves, kids, for being kind, respectful, and helpful to all of your co-workers, teachers, and staff. … I love you.”

Suleman went on to write a “side note to critics” asking questions about her six older children.

“Their older siblings didn’t want me to post a picture on their first day,” she explained. “I respect their choice, so do you.”

The social media upload came seven months after Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Jonah, Makai, Josiah and Jeremiah turned 13.

“You are all growing up to be one of the most kind, humble, grateful and loving people I’ve ever known,” Suleman wrote in a tribute on Instagram in January.

“You all have rare and unique traits and are unlike any other child your age, especially in our society today.”

The former porn star added that her teens love to serve “the less fortunate” and concluded, “I don’t know what I could have done to be so richly blessed.”

Suleman was already the mother of Ameerah, Calyssa, Elijah, Jonah, Joshua and Aidan when she became pregnant with her octuplets via IVF in 2009.

The media sensation told the New York Times in December 2018 that she “never wanted the attention” her growing family brought.

“I pretended to be a fake, a caricature, which I am not, and I did it out of desperation and scarcity so I could provide for my family,” she said at the time. “I’ve been hiding from the real world all my life.”
