Teresa Giudice’s wedding hair ‘was its own being’

She’s not a “housewife,” but she’s real.

Bethenny Frankel shares her thoughts on the wedding of Teresa Giudice, the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star to Luis Ruelas — and the infamous, larger-than-life haircut she chose for her big day.

“The hair was his own marriage,” Frankel joked on her “Just B with Bethenny Frankel” podcast Monday, before expressing her approval of the dramatic ‘do.

“She knows where she’s from, she’s an Italian girl from Jersey… She had her hair done by her hairstylist in Jersey and she’s the same Teresa who came in with the money to pay for the furniture, so yeah, I’m here for, I want more.”

Frankel continued, “So, I love the fact that Teresa now has this long kind of massive… crown haircut, with this lavish elaborate party that’s a circus, that her dress is so dainty, it’s over-the-top – as well as hair.”

Not everyone was on board with Giudice’s haircut, which drew comparisons on social media to Marge Simpson and “The Bride of Frankenstein”. Hairstylist Lucia Casazza even defended the $10,000 ‘do shortly after the wedding.

Giudice’s head was piled high with tons of extensions woven into a custom hairpiece.

“As we know, my girl Teresa is the queen of Jersey, so we needed her fit for a queen,” Casazza told Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM radio show. “You go big or you go home. [Teresa] said, ‘My hair must be over the top.’”

Casazza built a custom mesh hairpiece with $7,000 worth of real human hair extensions to achieve the voluminous look inspired by real Italian and Mediterranean brides.

It took nearly two hours for Casazza and other members of the glamor crew to remove more than 1,500 hairpins from Giudice’s hair after the reception, and Tre complained of a sore neck from the extra weight.

However, everything was worth it for the memorable look.

Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruela
The couple got the giggles from Frankel over their decision to forgo a prenup, but she wished them well after the wedding.

As for Frankel, she previously weighed in on Giudice and Ruelas’ choice to skip a prenup — tweeting that she can “jump through my phone if @Teresa_Giudice doesn’t sign a prenup” during an episode of “WWHL” — but wished the new couple well on her podcast.

“It’s none of my business, it’s her life and her choice, her marriage, and she seems happy and she’s in love,” she said after reiterating her disapproval with that particular decision.
