Taylor Ann Green ‘triggered’ by clash with Shep Rose’s old deal

Taylor Ann Green revealed on Thursday’s episode of “Southern Charm” that she became “triggered” after encountering the woman Shep Rose cheated on her with.

“I just see her and I’m, like, triggered,” she told pal Olivia Flowers as the two caught up. “Of course Shep said, ‘Taylor, you have to stop. That was a long time ago.'”

Rose, 42, admitted she cheated on Green, 27, at last season’s reunion.

“It was an old flame and I kissed a girl in a stairwell, but that was it,” he told host Andy Cohen at the time, adding that “there were some text messages” he exchanged with another woman.

During the new episode, Green said in a confession that she’s not normally a “jealous person” — but seeing her husband’s old flame sparked a flurry of negative emotions.

“Here we are,” she complained to the camera.

Green then told Flowers, 30, that if the author of “Average Expectations” challenged her again, she would quit for good.

“If something like that ever happens again, I’ll be gone,” she said. “I would stay calm and say, ‘I really feel sorry for you and the person you are deep inside and have fun with that. Good luck sleeping at night knowing you are who you are.’”

However, the men in “Southern Charm” hinted more than once in a recent episode that Rose was being unfaithful.

“Taylor is concerned when you leave town because you keep cheating on her when you leave town,” Craig Conover claimed of Rose in a confessional.

“I mean, how should she be – like, sleeping peacefully at night?”

The couple finally threw in the towel after dating for two years, People reported earlier this month.

Insiders told the outlet that Rose has “a real problem with monogamy” that contributed to the relationship’s demise.

“[He] refused to commit to Taylor, telling her he doesn’t want to be with just one person and change his lifestyle,” a source said.

“She’s incredibly hurt, but she knows she deserves a man who will fight for her, not someone so selfish,” added another, claiming Rose “would regret this.”

Rose previously admitted to Vidak For Congress that he and Green had some hiccups while filming season 8 of “Southern Charm.”

“[This season] took my toll [relationship],” he said. “It was just hard. I mean, when you’re filming too, there’s a little bit of anxiety. You want everything to go well, and if you try too hard, things usually explode inside you. face, and that’s about what happened. I saw the train coming, and I just ran into it instead of running away from it.”

“Southern Charm” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
