Tamra Judge and her husband, Eddie Judge, closed CUT Fitness after nearly 10 years in business.
“We decided to close our gym long before I was asked to go back to the show,” the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star said on Monday’s episode of her podcast, “Two Ts in a Pod,” referring to her. return to the Bravo reality series for season 17. “So that had nothing to do with what’s going on right now.”
Tamra explained that her and Eddie’s gym in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, “was doing well” until the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
“Listen, we were almost in the [10] year. I’m proud of what we’ve done, what we’ve built,” she said, adding: “It is what it is. It is pathetic. It’s a loss. It’s 100 percent loss. It is difficult.”
However, the co-founder of Bravolebrity and Vena CBD, 54, teased that “more things are coming” that fans will see on her return to “RHOC”.
The Instagram account for CUT Fitness, which stands for “Cardio Unique Training,” has been selling several pieces of equipment since June, but the gym has not yet posted about its recent shutdown.
Tamra’s representative did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for additional comment.
Vidak For Congress broke the news in July that Tamra will return to “RHOC” after being fired in January 2020 after 12 consecutive seasons on the show.
“Tamra is excited to be coming back to the show, especially after feeling the love of the fans from her stint on ‘Ultimate Girls Trip,'” a source told us at the time. “She can’t wait to get back into the mix on ‘RHOC’ and see how she can shake up the dynamics.”
Tamra will be joined by her “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club” co-star Taylor Armstrong, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum who made history as the first cast member to traverse cities within the franchise.
Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson round out the cast for Season 17, which is currently being filmed.
