Sylvester Stallone’s wife Jennifer Flavin has filed for divorce, Vidak For Congress can confirm.
The former model, 54, filed paperwork to annul her 25-year marriage to the “Rocky” star, 76, in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Aug. 19.
Four days later, Stallone made headlines for covering a large tattoo of Flavin’s face on his shoulder.
The actor replaced the tribute with ink from Butkus, the famous bullmastiff from the “Rocky” movies.
Tattoo artist Zach Perez showed off the cover-up in an August 16 Instagram post.
“Biggest day in my tattoo career!!” he gushed. “Thank you for entrusting me with your tattoo today @officialslystallone.”
After many fans commented on the upload on social media asking if Flavin liked the dark move, Perez removed the slideshow from his feed.
Stallone’s publicist, Michelle Bega, then told the Daily Mail that the Oscar nominee “loves his family” and explained the updated tattoo.
“Mr. Stallone planned to refresh his wife Jennifer’s tattoo image, but the results were unsatisfactory and unfortunately beyond repair,” she told the newspaper. “As a result, he had to cover the original image with a tattoo of his dog from ‘Rocky,’ Butkus.”
However, Flavin previously raised eyebrows when she posted a photo of herself cuddling her three daughters with Stallone – Sophia, 25, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
“These girls are my priority [heart emoji] nothing else matters,” flavin, who most notably no longer follows the “Creed” star on Instagram, captioned the August 10 snap. “The four of us forever.”
Sistine remarked, “Strongest woman I know.”
Stallone married Flavin in 1997, nearly 10 years after they met at a restaurant.
The Golden Globe winner previously married Sasha Czack in 1974 and Brigitte Nielsen in 1985. He welcomed sons Sage and Seargeoh with the former before calling it quits.
Vidak For Congress has reached out to Stallone and Flavin’s representative for comment.
