The world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows.
That’s what Sylvester Stallone learned when his wife of 25, Jennifer Flavin, filed for divorce from the actor in August 2022.
The estranged couple share three daughters: Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.
He also shares two sons – Sage and Seargeoh – with first wife Sasha Czack, whom he was married to from 1974 to 1985.
The “Rocky” actor was also married to Brigitte Nielsen from 1985 to 1987, although they share no children.
Here’s a look at all five of Stallone’s grown children.
Sage Moonblood Stallone
Stallone and Czack welcomed their first child, son Sage, on May 5, 1976.
Sage graduated from Montclair College Preparatory School California in 1993, then followed in his father’s footsteps by studying film for a year at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
Stallone’s oldest child was an actor, film director, producer, and co-founder of Grindhouse Releasing. He made his acting debut alongside his father in “Rocky V” in 1990.
But Stallone and Czack, who divorced in 1985, were heartbroken when Sage died of a heart attack in August 2012 at the age of 36.
Stallone opened up about the loss of his son in an interview with NBC’s “Today,” calling the tragedy a “reality of life.”
“It’s tough, I mean, it’s very, very heavy,” Stallone said at the time.
Seargeoh Stallone
Stallone and Czack welcomed their second child together, son Seargeoh, in 1979.
When he was 3 years old, Seargeoh was diagnosed with autism.
He has led a relatively quiet life away from the limelight, but his parents were inspired to start a research fund as part of the National Society for Children and Adults with Autism.
In 1985, Stallone and Czack established a research fund administered by the National Society for Children and Adults With Autism.
“Sasha wages the hard warfare in the trenches,” Stallone told People in a cover story that year. “I use my films for premieres that raise money for the fund.”
Sophia Rose Stallone
Stallone and Flavin welcomed their first child together, daughter Sophia, on August 27, 1996. The couple married the following year, in 1998
Sophia was born with a congenital defect of her heart valve, so she underwent surgery to correct the problem when she was just 2 months old and again in 2012.
She attended the University of Southern California where she earned a degree in fashion and has since launched a podcast with her sister Sistine called “Unwaxed.”
She also has a book club account called Favorite Book Club and has 1.5 million followers on Instagram.
In a 2012 interview, her mother shared that of all three of their daughters, Sophia most resembled the “Rambo” actor.
“They have a very special bond, they think the same and even have the same gestures,” Flavin told Paris Match at the time, adding: “Sophia is the love of his life.”
Sistine Rose Stallone
Two years later, Flavin and Stallone welcomed their second daughter, Sistine Rose, on June 27, 1998.
In 2018, she also attended the University of Southern California, where she completed a degree in communications.
Sistine then followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a model, signing with IMG Models in 2016. She made her modeling debut in a fashion show for Chanel and was also on the cover of Glamor in 2016 and Elle Russia a year later.
But she doesn’t just follow her mother. Sistine also became an actress like her father, starring as Nicole in the 2019 survival horror film ’47 Meters Down: Uncaged’. She also starred in “Midnight in the Switchgrass” alongside Bruce Willis, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly in 2021.
Sistine hosts the podcast “Unwaxed” with her sister Sophia and has a whopping 1.6 million followers on Instagram.
Her father is clearly very close to her, as he celebrated her 24th birthday in June 2022 with a sweet post.
“A very very happy birthday to our wonderful SISTINE!” he captioned a series of photos of his daughter at the time. “Every day with you was like Christmas. The best gift! @sistinestallone.”
And the feeling seems mutual, when she replied, “I love you, Dad!!!!❤️❤️❤️.”
Scarlet Rose Stallone
Scarlet Rose is the youngest daughter of Stallone and Flavin. They welcomed Scarlet on May 25, 2002.
Stallone is very proud of the young woman Scarlet has become. He took to social media to celebrate her graduation from high school in July 2021.
“Congratulations on graduating high school to our wonderful daughter SCARLET!” Stallone captioned a series of Instagram snaps of the graduate with her sisters at the time.
Stallone also gushed about his youngest when he celebrated her birthday last year.
“You are talented, humble and generous to everyone. We love you more than words. @scarletstallone,” he wrote.
