Stassi Schroeder plans to continue to condemn people in public — despite all the backlash she faced after being fired from Bravo.
“I still like to judge. Judging is fun,” said 34-year-old “Vanderpump Rules” alum as she returned to her podcast “Straight Up With Stassi” on Wednesday after a two-year hiatus.
“If someone tells you they don’t like to judge, or they don’t judge, they’re lying. [It’s] real human nature and part of our DNA.”
However, Schroeder clarified that she has gone “softly” in light of recent events, including coming under fire for racist allegations she made in June 2020 and welcoming daughter Hartford Charlie Rose with husband Beau Clark in January 2021.
“[My judging is] come from a different perspective,” she explains. “I think there’s something to be said for a thoughtfulness before you speak. I think we just need to be a little more thoughtful before we release anything.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Schroeder explained that the relaunch of her podcast will have a different feel than when she started it in 2015.
“I’m not the same person I was when you last heard from me,” she promised fans, noting that she feels the reveal may “disappoint some people” as she “grew up a bit.”
As Vidak For Congress previously reported, Bravo fired Schroeder and Kristen Doute ahead of Season 9 after allegedly calling the police about their black opponent Faith Stowers.
Both reality stars apologized after the shooting but chose to stay out of the limelight until recently.
