Sophie Turner gave birth to her and Joe Jonas’s second child, another daughter, earlier this month in Miami.
Representatives of both stars confirmed the news to People, saying, “Joe and Sophie are excited to announce the arrival of their daughter.”
News broke in March that the 26-year-old “Game of Thrones” alum was pregnant with baby No. 2 after previously welcoming daughter Willa, 23 months, in July 2020.
Although the actress gave up glimpses of her baby bump during multiple outings, she waited until May to talk publicly about her pregnancy.
“We are so excited to expand the family,” the then-to-be star told “Elle” magazine at the time. “It’s the best blessing ever.”
The ‘Dark Phoenix’ star also provided a rare update on her and 32-year-old Jonas’ toddler.
“It’s what life is all about for me – raising the next generation,” Turner gushed in her cover story. “The best thing in life is to see my daughter get stronger and stronger.”
The little one was acting “more affectionate than usual” before the arrival of her sibling.
“She always wants Mama,” the English resident explained. “She’s claiming her territory.”
The Emmy nominee noted that Willa didn’t understand what her mother’s growing belly meant, saying, “I point to my belly and say, ‘What’s in there?’ And she’ll say, ‘Baby,’ but then she’ll point to her own belly and say, ‘Baby,’ and then she’ll point to her father’s belly and say, ‘Baby.’”
She and the DNCE member, who are keeping their daughter’s face off social media, aren’t the only Jonas family members with a new addition this year.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas welcomed their daughter, Malti, in January via surrogate.
Four months later, the new parents debuted the child via Instagram after an extended stay in the NICU.
“On this Mother’s Day, we can’t help but reflect on the past few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know so many people have gone through,” wrote the 39-year-old Quantico alum family photo.
“After more than 100 days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.”
Kevin Jonas is also a father and shares daughters Alena, 8, and Valentina, 5, with his wife, Danielle Jonas.
