Demi Lovato is out of touring life.
The singer announced on Tuesday in a series of since-deleted Instagram Story posts that the “Holy Fvck” tour will be her last.
“I’m so damn sick I can’t get out of bed,” Lovato, 30, wrote atop photos that appear to have been taken from a hotel room.
“I can not do this anymore. This next tour will be my last. I love you guys and thank you guys.”
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer, who uses the pronouns “she/her” and “she/she”, did not share further details about the health issues she is currently facing.
A Lovato representative did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.
Lovato is currently slated to be on the road through November 6, when the tour concludes at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX. The former Disney star has not yet announced whether they will still be playing their show Tuesday night at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile.
Of course, Lovato’s latest IG Story posts sent “Lovatics” on social media.
“Demi lovato means the whole world to me.. but I’ve always had this terrible feeling that every time they go on tour, it’s not good for them mentally or physically,” a fan tweetedadding that they just want the singer to be “happy and healthy.”
‘We love you demi, you’re not alone. remember that you and your health are above all else,” a second fan chimed in with the hashtag “#WeLoveYouDemi.”
“I think we forget how much trauma demi lovato went through.. we forget how hard everyday life is for them.. i was shocked when they announced a tour at all.. all i ever want is demi happy, hard to read, but it keeps demi healthy, that’s what matters,” another user wrote after hearing the news.
Lovato has had a tumultuous last few years leading up to the release of her eighth studio album and world tour of the same name.
After a near-fatal overdose in 2018 that left the singer with three strokes and a heart attack, Lovato maintained a “California sober” lifestyle for the following years, meaning she still drank alcohol and smoked weed in moderation.
However, in December 2021, Lovato announced that being completely sober was “the only way” for her to live a healthy lifestyle while quietly completing another stint in rehab.
To celebrate the fresh start, the singer told fans that she has sobered up her most recent album.
And it sounds like touring isn’t the only thing Lovato plans to leave behind in this next chapter of his life.
Last month, the singer revealed in an interview with Alternative Press that she has no plans to make any more documentaries about her life.
“Honestly, I’m tired of looking at myself, and I think other people probably are too,” Lovato said. “And if they’re not, they can watch my music videos.”
