Thirty-one more years and forever to go.
Rob Lowe couldn’t stop talking about his 31-year-old wife, Sheryl Berkoff, as they celebrated their birthday on Friday.
“Your love made my world. You are as beautiful, knowledgeable, fascinating, kind and hilarious as you were so many glorious years ago,” the 58-year-old ‘Outsiders’ star wrote on his most recent Instagram post. “Partners in love for life!!”
In the black and white photo, the former makeup artist hugged herself wearing black sunglasses, a silk tank top and a white vest.
Berkoff, 61, responded with her own sentimental post celebrating the couple’s big day.
“Love is always ❤️ celebrating 31 years. Blessed and grateful. Happy birthday xoxo,” she captioned a photo of the two.
Lowe and Berkoff — who share sons Michael, 29, and John, 27 — first met in the ’80s after being set up on a blind date.
The couple decided to split up, leaving the jewelry designer on a brief date with Lowe’s co-star, Keanu Reeves. However, in 1989, they rekindled their romance and married two years later.
Before meeting Lowe, Berkoff got to know other A-stars while working as a makeup artist in Hollywood, including a young Gwyneth Paltrow.
On an episode of the actor’s podcast, “Literally with Rob Lowe,” Paltrow revealed that Berkoff was the first to teach her to have oral sex when she was only “15 or 16 years old.”
“I met Sheryl and I was immediately obsessed with her,” said Paltrow, who recalled meeting them while working on one of her mother Blythe Danner’s films.
“She was so cool. She knew I was smuggling cigarettes, and she would come smoke with me behind the trailer. And she taught me how to give a blowjob, and you know, all the classic Sheryl stuff,” the actress said.
