Rita Ora rarely provides insight into her relationship with rumored husband Taika Waititi – but recently she raved about the filmmaker.
The singer gushed about how “in love” she is with Waititi last week on an episode of the “Greatest Night Ever” podcast.
“[I’m] in love, very much in love. I’m in love, I’m in love,” Ora said in the September 20 interview. “Amen! I love love.
“I’ve always believed in it so much and I’ve always felt — I always wanted the fairy tale,” continued the 31-year-old songwriter.
She noted that her parents, who have been married for over 30 years, are her inspiration.
“For me, it’s always been about that love, finding a partner, so I’m really glad I did that,” Ora concluded. “I love Taika. Shout out to Taika.”
The actress’s comments come a month after news broke that she and 47-year-old “Our Flag Means Death” reportedly tied the knot in London in August.
While Ora has yet to confirm the marriage, she flashed what appeared to be a wedding ring in an August 8 Instagram photo.
Ora and the actor have been private about their romance since they were linked last year.
When photos of them — and Tessa Thompson — kissing in Sydney, Australia, went viral in May 2021, Waititi defended the cozy snaps.
“Is it that bad?” he asked. “No not really. I didn’t do anything wrong. It’s okay.”
The Oscar winner and Ora made their red carpet debut three months later at the “Suicide Squad” premiere, featuring the “Poison” singer glowing in an Azzi & Osta blazer dress. Waititi, for his part, wore a gray suit.
The duo reportedly got engaged in June of the following year.
The comedian has been previously married and divorced ex-wife Chelsea Winstanley in 2018. The former couple share daughters Te Hinekahu, 10, Matewa Kiritapu, 6.
As for Ora, she was previously in a relationship with DJ Calvin Harris and musician Andrew Watt.
