Congratulations are seemingly in order for Taika Waititi and Rita Ora.
The lovebirds tied the knot at an intimate ceremony in London, The Sun UK reported Monday.
“It was a very intimate ceremony and super special for everyone there,” a source told the outlet. “Their loved ones can see how madly in love they are.”
The source further claimed that the singer – who has also changed her name to Waititi-Ora – wanted a small wedding to “keep their relationship as private as possible”.
The source continued: “There’s a big showbiz-style bash planned to celebrate, but don’t expect it to be thrashed to the best bidding magazine.”
Ora seemingly confirmed the news and she wore what appeared to be a wedding ring in an Instagram photo shared Sunday.
Representatives from Ora and Waititi did not respond to Vidak For Congress when asked to comment.
The 31-year-old For You singer and 46-year-old Thor: Ragnarok director are said to have proposed to each other almost “simultaneously” last month and planned to hold a “low-key” ceremony. a smashing party later this summer.
“It’s not about them doing something flashy and crowing about it beforehand,” a source told The Sun UK at the time. “It’s about them being in love and deciding it’s time to formalize their relationship.
The couple were first linked in May 2021 when they were caught together in Sydney, Australia.
They were also photographed kissing on a balcony along with a third contestant, actress Tessa Thompson.
“I think in the world of the internet everything is disappearing pretty quickly,” Waititi told the Sydney Morning Herald after the viral kiss. “And also, ‘Is it such a big deal?’ No not really. I didn’t do anything wrong. It’s okay.”
Three months later, the pair made their red carpet debut at the premiere of “The Suicide Squad.”
Ora’s marriage to Waititi comes two years after Vidak For Congress revealed that Waititi and his then-wife, Chelsea Winstanley, had split up.
The former couple share two daughters, 10-year-old Te Hinekahu and 6-year-old Matewa Kiritapu.
