‘RHOSLC’ Star Whitney Rose Denies Giving Heather Gay Gnarled Black Eye

The bad weather team stays together.

Whitney Rose, the star of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” assured fans that she wasn’t the reason her close friend and cousin Heather Gay had a black eye in the Season 3 trailer.

While Rose was promoting the new season on Twitter, a fan account responded with a screenshot of the trailer — which dropped Wednesday — where Gay’s left eye was closed purple and swollen.

“Did you do this yes or no?” the fan asked.

The founder of Wild Rose Beauty, 36, made the air clean and fast replied“No of course not.”

The fan may have assumed Rose was the culprit, because in a clip from the trailer, the cousins yell at their counterparts when Gay angrily pushes Rose against a wall – though it doesn’t seem like it was intentional.

It’s unclear how the 40-year-old “Bad Mormon” author was injured, but it appears it happened while on a group tour. Gay revealed her black eye to co-star Meredith Marks, who held her hand to her mouth in shock.

“Heather, you look like someone clocked you,” Lisa Barlow told her in another scene as the other women surrounded her on couches in a tropical location.

“Well, maybe someone did,” Gay joked back, seemingly referring to more of an emotional punch than a punch.

Season 3 of “RHOSLC” teased several storylines among the women – including the Beauty Lab founder telling someone to “go find another Heather Gay”.

As many Bravo fans may have guessed, Jen Shah’s fraud scandal looks set to become a focal point of the coming season.

“I was played by Stuart Smith,” Shah told Gay and Marks, referring to her first assistant who was also involved in the telemarketing plan. “I wouldn’t be in this thing at all if it wasn’t for Stuart.”

Shah was due to stand trial in July, but she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit telemarketing on July 11.

The Bravolebrity has not yet been sentenced, but it is slated to release in the fall while Season 3 airs. She could face 11 to 14 years in prison if the judge follows the plea agreement.

Season 3 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” premieres on Bravo on September 28 at 9 p.m. ET.
