Heather Gay has never met an injectable she didn’t like.
“I get Botox, filler in my lips. I get Sculptra, which is like a collagen stimulator,” the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star tells Vidak For Congress Style exclusively.
“Yesterday they did something to my neck for the necklines. So for someone who is lazy and avoids self care, I get everything on the menu.”
The owner of Beauty Lab + Laser — a med spa who is anything but a secondary character on “RHOSLC” — adds, “And I get it all for free because I own it.”
Gay is open to any treatment her company offers — from a “Beauty Lab Butt Lift” to “Thighbella,” which promises to help patients get a thigh gap — but confesses that her employees need to “pin” [her] to the chair” during appointments.
“I’m not against injectables, but the truth is that it hurts and I try to avoid pain in every area of my life – even if it will make me look better,” she says with a laugh. “I could exercise if I wanted to. To much pain!”
However, when it comes to injectables, the pain is always worth it for Gay.
“[It’s] preventively, to maintain the speed of the cruise control,” she says of her approach to non-invasive cosmetic procedures. “You don’t have to accelerate or brake, but you have to keep cruise control, which means maintenance. It’s all about maintenance!”
Aside from free services, the “Bad Mormon” author tells Vidak For Congress Style that Beauty Lab + Laser — which she co-founded with friend Andrea Robinson — is her “pride and joy.”
“It is the vehicle that has made all my dreams come true, including [‘RHOSLC’]. I love Beauty Lab and I love our staff and we are opening our second location,” she enthuses.
“We’re having our launch party [this] month and hopefully you will see that in the future. Beauty Lab is expanding, the business is doing well.”
It has also become a channel for philanthropy, Gay points out.
She and Robinson founded the Don’t Leave Foundation as a way to honor their late friend Tim Robinson, who died by suicide in 2019. The organization, committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, offers free laser treatments for spurs and self-harm. damage scars.
“That’s growing and we have a few partner spas that help us too, because the demand is so high,” Gay says.
“We just got mentioned at this injection conference where they presented the Don’t Leave Foundation, and it was just cool. It’s cool to have built something believable.”
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
