Rapper Coolio passed away on Wednesday at the age of 59, TMZ reports.
Jarez, Coolio’s longtime manager, told the outlet that the rapper was at a friend’s house when he apologized for going to the bathroom. However, he never got out.
After the friend went to investigate, he discovered Coolio – whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr. is – on the floor. Paramedics were called upon his discovery.
Coolio was pronounced dead at the scene after suspected cardiac arrest.
The official cause of death is still pending.
