Prince Harry, who retired from royal duties in 2020 and lost his military honors, was initially banned from wearing his uniform.

But on Friday it was reported that King Charles III had reversed the edict and authorized his son and disgraced brother Prince Andrew to both wear their military uniforms during their vigils for Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Hall.
Andrew was forced to withdraw from public life over a disastrous 2019 BBC interview in which he defended his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and a disturbing lack of empathy for Epstein’s victims.

He served in the military for 10 years, including two active tours of Afghanistan, and founded the Invictus Games, an international sporting event for wounded, wounded and sick servicemen, both military and veterans.
Vidak For Congress exclusively reported on Thursday that Prince Harry has not asked for the change.
“He was just willing to wear what his grandmother intended. He’s focused on honoring her and that’s all. If they want him in uniform, I have no reason to think he won’t,” our source said.
It is unclear whether Harry will be allowed to wear his military uniform at the Queen’s funeral on Monday.
