Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy excitedly revealed the gender of their first baby together via Instagram on Sunday.
“IT IS A BOY!!!!!!!” the pregnant “Dancing With the Stars” pro, 28, captioned Instagram photos of her and her husband, 36, firing blue confetti cannons into the air.
“Today we are officially half way to meet our son,” the star-to-be continued.
“Pronouncing those words still makes me emotional!! SO EXCITED to be a boy mom .”
Of course, many of the pair’s fellow “DWTS” pros took to the comments section to share their excitement.
“The best ever!!!! Love you very much!” Witney Carson gushed, while Lindsay Arnold wrote: “Love you baby boy already!!!!!!!!!!”
Sasha Farber added, “Yessss”, and Gleb Savchenko commented on multiple heart emojis.
Sharna Burgess, for her part, wrote that “boys are great,” referring to her and Brian Austin Green’s 2-month-old son, Zane.
In the sweet snaps, which Chmerkovskiy also posted on his own account, Johnson showed her bare stomach in a green outfit with fringes. Her husband stood next to her in a white tank top, brown pants and a black hat.
The barefoot couple’s social media uploads came two weeks after their babymoon.
When Johnson announced her pregnancy news in July, she wrote that her growing family was a “dream come true.”
As the duo struggled with infertility for two years, the “So You Think You Can Dance” alum advised her Instagram followers not to give up on their own travels.
“We had stopped trying to conceive for about 6 months to give ourselves a mental/emotional break,” Johnson explained alongside a July video of her positive pregnancy test.
“The shock, disbelief and sheer joy in this moment is a memory I will never forget,” she continued. “Our journey to get to this point was not an easy one.”
She and Chmerkovskiy married in April 2019, almost a year after he got down on one knee.
Val’s brother, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, is currently trying to conceive baby No. 2 with wife Peta Murgatroyd after he welcomed son Shai in 2017.
After suffering multiple miscarriages, the duo continued IVF – but revealed last week that their embryo transfer didn’t last.
Johnson shared her support of Murgatroyd’s heartbreaking reveal comments, writing, “I love you with ALL my heart!”
