Police issued order for blood sample Anne Heche after accident

Anne Heche has to give a blood sample to the police after her car crashes into a house in Los Angeles.

The LAPD was ordered to test the blood of the “Six Days, Seven Nights” star to see if she was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time of the crash, TMZ reported Monday.

Officers believe Heche, 53, was drunk when she plowed her blue Mini Cooper into a house Friday and suffered severe burns after the vehicle caught fire, but her blood test results could take weeks, the outlet noted.

Sources also told TMZ that the LAPD will at least refer Heche’s case to the LA City attorney, who could file a hit-and-run charge, as she allegedly pulled into a garage and drove away before entering the nearby home.

An LAPD representative did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.

A day after her fiery crash, Hech’s representative told People in a statement: “Anne is currently in stable condition. Her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers and to respect her privacy during this difficult time.”

Her ex-boyfriend Thomas Jane, with whom she dated in 2019, also told the Daily Mail that she is expected to recover.

“My thoughts and prayers are with Anne, one of the true talents of her generation,” he said. “Thank God no one else was injured.”

Aerial photos of the incident showed the actress being taken away on a stretcher as fire engines surrounded the destroyed home. Her clothes and back seemed visibly burned.
