Security has tightened at Ben Affleck’s plantation-style estate in Georgia prior to his second marriage to Jennifer Lopez, as the actor has been granted a permit that considers the property a no-fly zone for the entire party, The Daily reports. Mail.
The permit applies to all areas within a radius of 5 kilometers around the house.
Other security measures include a police car parked at the entrance to the property, with guards handing out wristbands to guests confirmed to be on the couple’s “Master Production” list.
The river behind the property is also patrolled by security boats, and large security gates were installed weeks ago at the end of the four-mile road to Affleck’s estate.
Affleck secured the permit after photos had already made several cash withdrawals of the property.
The ‘Selena’ star, 53, and Affleck, 50, arrived in Georgia earlier this week ahead of their wedding. The couple were photographed with their children shopping in Savannah ahead of the big day. However, on Friday evening, Ben’s mother was rushed to hospital after falling from scaffolding on the estate.
Lopez and Affleck first tied the knot at a ceremony in Las Vegas last month, with the singer turning to her “On The JLo” newsletter to gush about their sin city wedding.
“Last night we flew to Vegas, lined up for a permit with four other couples, all taking the same trip to the wedding capital of the world,” she shared with her subscribed fans.
