The split between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson may be fresh, but the comedian already seems to be making a statement.
Davidson wore his heart on his sleeve – or in this case, his shirt – to follow the news, while during filming he wore a T-shirt with a humanoid insect sketch on it that read, “What…I’m in the mood for s– t” the movie “Wizards!” in Cairns, Australia on Saturday.
Wearing a trucker hat with the movie’s name on it and his distinctive T-shirt, the former “Saturday Night Live” star may have sent his ex a message in the photo, taken a day after the couple’s split was announced.
A Kardashian insider told Vidak For Congress that the couple “decided to just be friends” after dating for nine months.
“They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship,” the source added.
However, their 13-year age difference was also said to be a huge contributing factor to the breakup.
“Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 — they’re just in very different places right now,” another source told Vidak For Congress, adding the comedian “is completely spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is, in the twinkling of an eye.”
“But Kim has four children and it’s not that easy,” said the source. “She needs to focus on the kids.”
The insider also said the “Kardashians” star was “completely exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life.”
It doesn’t seem like the breakup was expected, as Davidson had recently added several tattoo tributes for his girlfriend — and her kids — to his ever-growing collection of ink, including one that reads “My girl is a lawyer.”
While the funny guy is feeling “like sh-t” right now, we have a feeling he’ll do well in the romance department soon enough.
