Olivia Newton-John, the four-time Grammy-winning singer and ‘Grease’ star, died Monday after a 30-year battle with breast cancer. She was 73.
Over the course of her decades-long career, the British-born Australian beauty had generations of fans hopelessly devoted to her, thanks to hit songs like “I Honest Love You” and “Physical,” her extensive humanitarian work, and her starring role as a good girl wearing spandex-wearing vixen. Sandy has become one of the most successful movie musicals of all time.
In between, Newton-John also made her mark as a style icon. From her flares, cardigans and miniskirts from the 1970s to the bright workout clothes and bedazzled sweats she made her signature in the ’80s, the ‘Xanadu’ star’s outfits continue to inspire us. Moving on, some of our all-time favorite looks from Newton-John’s over the years.
