Olivia Culpo sprang into action just in time to save sister Sophia from a falling fridge on Tuesday.
“The fridge fell on Sophie yesterday,” the model wrote on her Instagram story about the hectic scene. “I didn’t post it because I was traumatized, but if you looked at her stories, she’s 100% okay.”
The 33-year-old said she and her sister-in-law, Katie, were “run over while it was mid-air and held it up,” although Sophia’s head was still in the fridge during the fall.
The sisters are currently helping their parents move into their new beachfront farmhouse, but after the “crazy day,” the former Miss Universe says she “won’t miss this part of the moving process.”
She ended the post, reminding her 5.2 million followers to “secure all devices and not leave details like this to 60+ year olds.”
Fortunately, the accident only resulted in a few cracked eggs and spilled groceries rather than serious injuries.
The family was able to recover from the incident and sister Sophie, 25, took to her own Instagram story and said there are “temporary props” holding the fridge in place. Once the device was attached, the girls went straight to the tequila to take the rim off.
In another Instagram story, Sophia turned to Katie who had pulled out a bottle of Casamigos tequila and said “so much for the wine!” while the others agreed to their requests for margaritas.
Olivia recently celebrated her 30th birthday with her NFL star boyfriend, Christian McCaffrey. The model stunned in a metal mesh dress with a high slit.
The social media star’s sexy wardrobe has gotten her into trouble with American Airlines in the past. In January, Olivia was asked to “cover up” after boarding a flight in an “inappropriate” outfit. Fortunately, the star was able to shake it off and later make fun of the incident.
