Nicki Minaj is suing blogger Nosy Heaux for calling her a “cokehead.”
According to court documents obtained by Vidak For Congress, the rapper, 39, claims that Nosy Heaux – born Marley Green – posted a video on Monday containing allegations of drug use.
“[Minaj is] pushing all that cocaine in, pushing all that cocaine in her nose. Allegedly. Thank you. Allegedly. But we all know it’s true,” Nosy Heaux is said to have said via social media.
“Fk, listen, I can’t even say so-called because I – we all know it’s true. I’m not supposed to say about that. Nicki Minaj is a cokehead.”
Minaj is also angry with Nosy Heaux for making disparaging comments about her 1-year-old son, who the musician shares with husband Kenneth Petty.
Petty, 44, is a registered sex offender convicted of attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1994. According to the documents, the blogger claimed the couple’s son needs therapy because: “Your baby is going to be a rapist too. ”
“Marley Green is a disgrace – someone who has so little basic decency that she has made vile comments about Nicki’s 1-year-old son. When this case is over she will not be allowed to use the name ‘Nosey Heaux’ because we have her trademark of hers. will decline if she doesn’t have enough money to pay the verdict,” Minaj’s attorney, Judd Burstein, told Vidak For Congress in a statement.
“Anyone who spreads lies about Nicki will suffer a similar fate. My marching orders are to aggressively charge anyone with a media or social media following who harms her with deliberate lies. Ultimately, the lesson will be learned.”
The “Starships” singer is suing Nosy Heaux for defamation, alleging she never used cocaine and is seeking damages of no less than $75,000.
After Minaj chose to sue Nosy Heaux, the blogger shared screenshots of an alleged direct message exchange on Instagram with the hip-hop star.
“We know you don’t really have any money to talk about, so losing all this little advertising money from YouTube is going to be a huge dent,” Minaj is said to have written. “You will be but the first of many.”
Nosy Heaux then went on to say, “Are you okay, Nicki? File your lawsuit, okay? I’m not afraid and don’t be intimidated.”
Minaj is said to have replied, “YAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!”
