Melissa Villaseñor, Alex Moffat and Aristotle Athari out

Season of change.

“Saturday Night Live” stars Melissa Villaseñor, Alex Moffat and Aristotle Athari will not be returning to the late-night show this fall, according to multiple outlets.

Both Villaseñor and Moffat took part in the NBC show in 2016 before being promoted to the main cast two years later.

Villaseñor is best known for her role as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Lady Gaga, while Moffat played numerous members of the Trump family.

Athari, on the other hand, joined the cast as a featured comedian last year before announcing his swift departure.

The news comes just months after Pete Davidson, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon and Kyle Mooney parted ways during the Season 47 finale.

McKinnon, 38, recently opened up about her decision to leave the show after ten years.

“All I ever wanted to do in my entire life was be on ‘Saturday Night Live,'” she said on an episode of “Live With Kelly and Ryan.”

“So I did. I loved it. I had the best decade, and then I was like, my body was tired and I felt it was time.”

The “Ghostbusters” star joined the show in 2012 and now holds the record as the longest-running female cast member in the show’s history.

The long list of departures didn’t come as a shock to the show’s creator, Lorne Michaels, who said the upcoming season would be a “year of change.”

Former ‘SNL’ stars, such as Rob Schneider, were also not surprised by the news.

Schneider, who appeared on the show from 1990 to 1994, claimed the reason viewership has declined in recent years is due to the show’s political commentary.

On Saturday, the 58-year-old cracked open the show’s infamous post-2016 election cold, which saw McKinnon don a rendition of “Hallelujah” dressed as Hillary Clinton.

The funny man recalled seeing the moment live and “prayed” that there would be a joke at the end. When it didn’t, he remembered saying to himself, “It’s over. It is over. It’s not coming back.’”
