Meghan Markle wanted to be ‘queen bee’ of the family: expert

Oh sweetie.

Meghan Markle believed she would become the ‘queen bee’ of the British royal family after marrying Prince Harry, a royal expert claims.

“I think there were cultural clashes, there were personality clashes, but I think in the end Meghan wanted to be the queen bee,” royal expert Katie Nicholl told True Royalty TV’s “The Royal Beat,” according to a Mirror article published Friday.

Nicholl explained that the Duchess of Sussex, who was accused of allegedly bullying staffers, expected the palace to take immediate action at her request, even allegedly sending out emails with orders late at night.

“She expected an immediacy that came with those sunrise emails so that she would come up with an idea and want to execute it the next day, and she didn’t quite understand that the palace was working at a different pace,” Nicholl claimed.

The royal expert added that she didn’t think Markle’s early correspondence was “a big deal” as the king would also send emails late at night.

“But I understand from the people I spoke to, many of whom worked for the Sussex, that Meghan in particular [would] wants everything done now,” Nicholl explained.

The claims about Nicholl’s queen bee come after recent buzz from Markle who thought she would become the Queen Bey of the UK after joining the royal family.

“I think Meghan thought she was going to be the Beyoncé of the UK. Being part of the royal family would give her kudos,” a source told royal reporter Valentine Low in her book ‘Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown’ .

The source added: “As she discovered there were so many rules that were so ridiculous that she couldn’t even do the things she could do as a private person, which is hard.”

Markle and Prince Harry, who tied the knot in 2018, resigned from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to California, where they live with their two children: Archie, 3, and 1-year-old Lilibet.

After Megxit, the duo sat down for a controversial all-encompassing interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they recounted their experience with the royal family in March 2021.

Among the allegations, Markle, who is black, claimed that a member of the royal family was concerned about Archie’s skin color. Markle also shared that “The Firm” did nothing to help her when she had suicidal thoughts.

The interview only heightened tensions between Harry’s relationship with his brother Prince William and their father King Charles III. Despite signs that their royal rift was mending after Queen Elizabeth II’s death earlier this month, it seems peace has not yet been reached.
